Our Client a busy distribution and logistics company which distribute and import engineering equipment to the construction industry have a need to recruit for an Assistant Accountant to assist with the accounts team. Working alongside others you will be responsible for the day to day running of the accounts and will be competent in all aspects of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control and must be conversant with Sage line50 and have dealt in multi currency functions, Intrastat and VAT.
Ideally you will:
- Be articulate, passionate, accurate and diligent with a want to forward your career, Ideally be working towards your AAT qualifications.
- Be committed to working for a company in the long term, Covering all aspects of the accounts function and having a methodical approach towards your workload.
- Be used to working to strict deadlines with excellent time keeping, To think on your feet as you will have complete autonomy within your role and will be required to make your own mark on the position.
