US Airways provides an exciting environment in which to develop your career in the Travel Industry.
We are looking for talented individuals to join our team as
Reservation Sales Agents
to work at our European Reservations Office in Liverpool City Centre.
THE RESERVATION SALES AGENTS JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
Answer in-bound calls to the European Reservations Centre
Provide US Airways passengers with information and advice regarding their travel plans
Assist customers by providing information regarding flight availability, schedules, fares and special programs
Assist passengers who wish to make special requests in respect of their reservations
Liaise with internal customers from US Airways offices in Europe and the USA
Make outbound calls to customers when necessary
Deal with ad-hoc issues as and when they arise
Communicate with Travel Agents and other external contacts
Undertake any other specialist duties as required, other than those specified within the scope of the current job title
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
GCSE or O-Level English and Math or equivalent
Demonstrated ability in customer service skills with a minimum of two years work experience
Bilingual written and oral proficiency in English and one relevant European language (Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish)
Flexibility to work variable shifts, weekends and holidays as required
Ability to work well in stressful situations
Ability to handle difficult customer service interactions
Applicant must be eligible to work in the country for which they are applying
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Proficient in computer and keyboard skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Multi-lingual written and oral proficiency in additional relevant European languages listed above
Prior Contract Centre experience
Airline/Travel industry experience
