Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and build your future career with a company who firmly sees the Financial Controller as the number two to the General Manager. The Financial Controller’s primary role is to provide the General Manager with strategic and pro-active financial support, to drive operational performance. In addition, the Financial Controller is responsible for the smooth running of the entire accounts and administration function. A key aspect of the role is the delivery of timely and accurate management accounts and their integration into the Group's standard structures. You will maintain and develop strategic controls to maximise returns and cash flow and utilise your financial and management experience to ensure the effective running of the business and contribution to our growth aspirations.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our Senior Management Team at Bristol Street Versa.
You will spend most of your time at our offices in Batley but regular visits will also be required to our offices in Widnes, so the ability to travel is essential to the role.
You will be a fully qualified ACA or CIMA accountant and also have a wealth of management experience.
You will have a proven track record in a similar position with experience of managing teams. Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Kerridge software although this is not essential. You will also have the ability to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial colleagues, suppliers and customers.

* Knowledge of Kerridge would be desirable but not essential
